Tomorrow marks the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. In Iceland, and across many northern regions, daylight stretches almost endlessly, reminding us of the extraordinary rhythm of nature. Growing up in the north of Iceland, the Summer Solstice felt almost magical. I remember planning midnight excursions with friends to the edge of the…
Content note: This article includes reflections on childhood trauma and healing. Introduction Some wounds begin in childhood yet echo throughout our lives. And the Art of Releasing It There are moments when you leave a conversation and feel more tired than the situation seems to justify. Nothing dramatic happened. No conflict. No clear reason. And yet, something in your body feels full, slightly overwhelmed, as if you have been holding more than you can name. You may…
When you enter the psychedelic realm, one word appears everywhere: integration. It is spoken about in preparation circles, retreats, podcasts, and community gatherings. There are guidelines about what to do afterwards, how to behave, how to journal, and how to implement insights into daily life. Integration has become one of the central pillars of modern…
Preparation is not a ritual add-on; it is the foundation Before a participant ever enters the space, the work has already begun, quietly, invisibly, and with deep intention. Psychedelic sessions ask for responsibility, precision, and reverence. What we hold in the room matters. What I carry in my body, nervous system, and inner world matters….
As the holidays approach, tables fill with comforting foods, sweet treats, and traditions we only meet once a year. Alongside the joy, many people also carry quiet tension; worries about overeating, guilt around indulgence, or fear of “undoing” healthy habits. However, our relationship with food has never been solely about food. It reflects how we…
In Iceland, everyone is talking about Gusa. It’s the latest wellness ritual making its way through the country — a sensory sauna experience where heat, cold, aromas, breath, and music are woven together into a shared journey. In many ways, it feels like a modern expression of ancient sweat rituals — familiar, yet newly reimagined….
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been deeply attuned to energy, in myself, in others, and in nature. I feel it in rooms, in conversations, in the quiet between words. That sensitivity has made me both curious and cautious; it’s taught me how profoundly frequency shapes our inner and outer worlds. Maybe you’ve…
All of us come from stories larger than ourselves. We inherit not only the color of our eyes or the shape of our smile, but also the patterns, beliefs, and wounds of those who came before us. Sometimes these patterns are nourishing – resilience, creativity, love. Other times, they carry pain – cycles of silence,…
Each morning, before the day really begins, I open my journal and write down three things I am grateful for. It doesn’t take more than a minute, but that little practice fills me with warmth and sets the tone for my whole day. Gratitude softens my heart, brings me into presence, and reminds me of…
Since I can remember, rituals have been little anchors in my life. Some were tiny, almost secret gestures – like whispers just for me. Others were shared moments of connection that became unforgettable. For me, rituals have always been about comfort, release, and joy. They help me process my emotions, soothe my stress and anxiety,…
I absolutely love this quote that has been widely shared online and often attributed to Warren Buffett (and sometimes even Bruce Lee) – but according to fact-checkers, neither actually said it. The origin remains unknown, but the message is powerful enough to stand on its own: “You will continue to suffer if you have an…

A Journey Toward Purpose, Presence, and Personal Truth I’ve always found it fascinating how some people find deep satisfaction in stability, working the same job for years, living in the same town, and settling into a rhythm they love. And that’s beautiful. But that’s not me. Some of us are wired differently, always searching, restless,…
How Morning Sun Supports Mood, Sleep & Daily Energy A few days ago, on June 21st, we marked the Summer Solstice in Iceland, the longest day of the year. Preparation and Integration in Your Process of Healing As an Icelander, I’ve always known the power of nature. Nature isn’t just something I visit, it’s part of who I am. Growing up on this raw and beautiful island in the North Atlantic, I’ve learned firsthand what nature can do for the human spirit. Iceland’s landscape…
Without even thinking about it consciously, I find myself drawn, again and again, to the things that bring me peace. They calm my mind, anchor me in the present, and fill me with a kind of quiet joy and comfort that words often fail to capture. In a world that moves quickly and often demands…
A personal Journy of Healing, Energy & Connection to Nature Since I can remember, I’ve been collecting treasures from nature. As a child, I was drawn to the earth’s gifts (I still am), like stones, feathers, shells, pieces of wood, leaves, anything that carried a story or energy. It runs in my family, this tradition…
What to do when you’re not ready (or not a candidate) for the medicine Not everyone is meant to walk the psychedelic path — at least not right now. Maybe you’re dealing with mental health concerns, on medication, or have physical or emotional sensitivities that make the use of psychedelics unsafe. Or maybe something deep…
