A Journey Back to Self

My path into this work did not begin with a qualification or a career plan. It began with my own search for healing, understanding, and a deeper connection with myself.

Over the years, I have explored many paths — yoga, meditation, breathwork, bodywork, holistic wellbeing, and psychedelic experiences. Each has taught me something different, but they have all brought me back to the same understanding: healing is not about becoming someone else. It is about gently returning to who we are beneath the patterns, expectations, and stories we have learned to carry.

Today, I bring together professional training, lived experience, intuition, and many years of working with people. My role is not to have the answers for you, but to create a grounded and compassionate space where you can listen more deeply to yourself.

My Journey

My own journey has not been linear. Like many people, I have known periods of uncertainty, loss, change, and times when I felt disconnected from myself. Those experiences became part of a much longer journey of learning to understand myself, meet what was difficult rather than turn away from it, and find my way back to a deeper sense of who I am.

Over the years, yoga, meditation, breathwork, bodywork, and psychedelic experiences became important parts of that exploration. They helped me understand that healing is rarely about one breakthrough moment. It is often a gradual process of becoming more aware of ourselves — our patterns, our bodies, our emotions, our relationships, and the parts of us that may have been pushed aside or forgotten.

My own experiences have also taught me the importance of being met without judgement. Sometimes what we need most is not someone to fix us or tell us what to do, but someone who can stay present while we find our own way through.

This understanding lies at the heart of how I work today. I bring my training and professional experience, but I also bring the humility that comes from having walked my own path. I know that every person’s journey is different, and I deeply respect the courage it can take to turn inward.

I believe that healing, once found, is meant to be shared.

My Background & Training

My professional path has been as varied as my personal one. I have worked across wellbeing, bodywork, yoga, project management, leadership, and facilitation — experiences that have taught me to work with people from diverse backgrounds and to bring both structure and intuition to the way I support others.

My foundation in holistic wellbeing began with professional training in massage and bodywork and later expanded into yoga, meditation, breathwork, and somatic practices. I completed a 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training, and my own experiences with psychedelics eventually led me to undertake professional training in psychedelic training with the Synthesis Institute, including their Core Practitioner training, Level II Immersion, and practicum program.

My academic background includes a BA in Art Theory and an MSc in Project Management. I spent many years working professionally in project management and leadership alongside my work and studies in wellbeing. This perhaps unusual combination of creative, holistic, and structured experience has shaped the way I work today — grounded and organised, while leaving space for intuition, curiosity, and the unknown.

Between Two Worlds

I am Icelandic and divide my time between Iceland and Valencia, Spain — two places that nourish very different parts of me.

Iceland connects me to my roots, to nature, stillness, and the raw beauty of the elements. Spain brings warmth, colour, community, and a different rhythm of life.

Living between these two worlds continually reminds me of the balance I value in my own life — between solitude and connection, stillness and movement, structure and flow.

Nature is an important part of how I stay connected to myself. Whether walking through the Icelandic landscape or feeling the warmth of the Mediterranean sun, being outdoors brings me back to what is simple, present, and real.
