A personal Journy of Healing, Energy & Connection to Nature
Since I can remember, I’ve been collecting treasures from nature. As a child, I was drawn to the earth’s gifts (I still am), like stones, feathers, shells, pieces of wood, leaves, anything that carried a story or energy. It runs in my family, this tradition of stone collecting, and it’s a thread that continues to ground and inspire me every day.
Over the years, my collection grew beyond pretty rocks and into something deeper: healing crystals. Now, they are a part of my everyday life, not just as objects of beauty, but as energetic companions. I use them for grounding, protection, clarity, cleansing, and sometimes simply to bring a sense of peace into a room.

How I Use My Crystals
Each crystal I work with has a specific energy and purpose. Here’s how I incorporate them into my life and spiritual practices:
- Black Tourmaline – My go-to for protection. I wear it during energy sessions or emotionally intense days to shield myself from negative energy and keep me grounded.
- White Quartz (Clear Quartz) – This crystal is all about clarity and amplification. It brings spiritual insight and acts like an energetic amplifier, enhancing the power of other crystals and intentions.
- Pink Quartz (Rose Quartz) – Known as the stone of unconditional love. I use it for heart healing, self-love, and to bring softness into my relationships and space.
- Amethyst – My birthstone. A deeply spiritual and calming stone. It helps me access inner wisdom, supports emotional healing, and is my crystal of choice when I meditate.
- Citrine – A crystal of joy, abundance, and personal power. I keep it near me when I need motivation or to feel more confident and vibrant.
- Tiger’s Eye – I use this for inner strength and protection. It helps balance my emotions and gives me a little extra courage when I need to step into a leadership role or speak my truth.
- Jasper – I call this my nurturing stone. It’s grounding, protective, and brings a sense of safety. It reminds me to slow down and reconnect with my body and the Earth.
- Agate – A gentle but steady stone for stability and harmony. I often reach for it when I need emotional balance or when life feels overwhelming.
- Malachite – This is my stone of transformation and deep healing. It draws out emotional pain and patterns, especially from the heart. I work with malachite when I need to confront difficult truths, release toxic energy, or empower personal growth. It’s powerful, protective, and works like a magnet for emotional honesty.
How I Cleanse My Crystals
Just like us, crystals can absorb energy. That’s why I make sure to cleanse them regularly, especially after using them in healing work. Here are my favorite methods:
- Sound Cleansing: I use singing bowls and sound healing instruments to reset and clear their energy. The vibration gently releases anything that doesn’t belong.
- Moonlight Baths: I place my crystals under the full moon to recharge them with lunar energy. It’s one of the most natural and magical ways to cleanse.
- Salt or Earth Burial: For a deeper cleanse, I bury my crystals in sea salt (avoid this for softer stones like selenite and malachite) or directly in the earth overnight.
- Smoke Cleansing: I use herbal smoke like sage or palo santo to cleanse the energy field of my crystals, especially after sessions.
- Water: Some crystals like quartz love a rinse under cool, running water. But always check some stones, like malachite, are water-sensitive and should be kept dry.
Crystals as Decor — and More
Beyond their energy, crystals are simply beautiful. I place them around my home to bring balance, warmth, and a connection to nature. A chunk of amethyst on a bookshelf, rose quartz by my bed, jasper and citrine near my workspace, it creates an atmosphere that’s peaceful, inspiring, and alive.
Every stone I collect has a story. Each one is a reminder of the Earth’s magic, my childhood curiosity, and the quiet power of listening to nature.
In the end, crystals are more than just tools or objects. They’re allies, reminders, and reflections of something deeper, our connection to the Earth, to ourselves, and to the unseen energy that moves through all things.
